Nikaro to expand service offer with canine units
Nikaro has partnered with Omni Security Services to offer canine units for situations when the additional deterrent of a guard dog and trainer are required.
A guard dog is the most effective deterrent against theft or damage to property. With its acute sense of smell and sound, a trained dog can pick up the presence of an intruder long before a human can. The dog's ability to stand firm against threatening behaviour makes it a formidable opponent for any trespasser.
The partnership will also secure the provision of specialist search dogs, handled by highly trained personnel, for assignments requiring the detection of explosives, firearms or drugs.
All dog teams provided by Omni Securirty Services are fully compliant with the high standards set out by the National Association of Security Dog Users and The British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers and operate in accordance with BS 8517-1:2008 Code of Practice for Security Dogs.
The Canine Units will operate fully equipped specialist canine transportation vehicles allowing them to be deployed immediately throughout the country.
