Peter CHAPMAN
Managing Director

Initially qualifying as a mechanical engineer, Peter has pursued a sales and business development career for some 20 years becoming involved in manned guarding security early in 1988. In his capacity as national accounts manager for an international security services group he gained considerable experience in the deployment of specialist skills, multi-site security teams for many blue chip commercial, government and industrial organisations.

Following two years of intensive part-time study at Loughborough University of Technology, Peter was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Security Management in February 1992 and is a founder member of the Loughborough University Security Research Group.

Having identified a business opportunity in keyholding and alarm response, founded Nikaro Limited in 1996 with Bob Shearsmith.

Norman PELZ
Operations Manager

Norman served 22 years in the Army from 1972 to 1994, which included four operational tours of Northern Ireland and the first Gulf War and attained the rank of Warrant Officer Class Two (RQMS).

Joined NIKARO in February 2003 as Operations Manager and also advises on all health and safety matters within the company.

Is married with two children and three grand children and enjoys most forms of motor sports and DIY.

John COX
Business Development Manager

John joined Nikaro in January 2004 as Business Development Manager.

He started his career in Sales in 1972 as a sales engineer for the special products division of a Leicestershire manufacturing company.

John’s considerable experience and knowledge has been gained in sales to global multi-national aerospace and industrial engineering industries being responsible for business development in a number of market segments.

He has a strong belief in customer service and is committed to company growth and profitability through increased sales and meeting and exceeding customer expectations

John’s interests include Motor Sport, Rugby, Fishing & Golf

Malcolm EAMES
Quality Manager

Malcolm comes to Nikaro National Keyholding with a background in manufacturing. Having initially trained as a Production Engineer, Malcolm has held positions with a number of East Midlands based companies as production manager or quality manager involved with metalwork machining, sheet metal presswork, metal fabrication and electronic assembly.

Immediately prior to joining Nikaro in June 2005, Malcolm was Quality Assurance manager for a Wellingborough based company involved with the manufacture and installation of UVPC windows and doors for local authorities and housing associations.

Thus, Malcolm brings a wealth of knowledge of diverse industries to the position of Compliance Manager for Nikaro where he will be working with the quality team to ensure that we and our network meet the challenges of the new security regulations.

During the Rugby Union season, week-ends will find Malcolm, a qualified RU referee, at one of the many rugby clubs in Leicestershire trying to ensure that players aged 13 are adhering to the laws of rugby !

Fiona is currently on maternaty leave.

Fiona is a graduate of the University of Wolverhampton where she gained a B.A (Hons).

She has experience with a number of businesses in customer service and purchasing.

She and her husband Nick, relocated to Corby in 2005 and Fiona joined the Nikaro team in September 2005.

Her interests include walking, snorkeling and reading.
